Telangana Institute of Rural Development (TGIRD) established Centre for Social Audit Transparency and Accountability (C-SATA) is the year 2011 to build the capacities to the government officials, Social Auditros (SRPs, DRPs, BRPs) etc.

C-SATA closely works with SSAAT (Society for Social Audit Accountability and Transparency a autonomous unit under department of RD Telangana. SSAAT is the only funding source for C-SATA.

It organizes networking training programmes with assistance form NIRDPR

Objectives

• Organizing Training Programmes to social audit functionaries like STMs, DRPs, BRPs and PMs on VBGRAMG.
• Organizing Training Programmes on Social audit of VRP Cadre Development through SHGs etc.

Focus

• To bring qualitative change in governance.
• To bring transparency in administration.
